illuminated of light divine
burning from within with joy
casting carelessly over hillocks and meadows
with prancing feet gliding o'er the snow

yay...first proj handed in today...
well....looked around abit...seems like more pple here draft than use e comp...and their drafting and renderings r really quite nice! serious...there isnt anione in our batch in NUS of this standard...not dat i know of...
well...vast difference in terms of quality of work...some really v nice, well presented...some really last min sketches and cut and paste photos etc...some panels mounted, some in pieces...etc....oh well, they din specify the submission requirements, so i guess..anithing goes...juz abit sianz dat i spent $4.50 on white foam board juz to mount my panels...which actually i din have to...oh well...juz looks better i guess...but who cares manz...
i guess we'll have to wait for thurs to see e rest of e class...cos not everyone works in studio...and not dat i noe everyone...so i cant possibly go around looking at other pple's work without feeling wierd...
well...e prob i have here now is e readings...i really really really cant digest all e readings...sigh...i hope i pull this thru....urban essay due every two wks...modernism thesis due at e end....crap...
well, i'm kinda used to e life here now...only that time is always not enough...not dat i'm super bz...no....serious, i'm much more slack than in sg...but den maybe itz e pace of life that makes me stone more..and i waste so much more time stoning....i read, den stone...den surf net aimlessly for interesting stuffs or checking tv prog or cooking receipes for my nxt meal...den read...den stone...den read....and somehow fall asleep...argh...
aniwae have i said that the canadians are not used to e british accent? that's wat one of them was complaining about...she cant understand british english...which...i'm totally perfectly fine wif...actually i much prefer the british english than american/canadian ones...cos somehow they dun pronounce the words properly....and to try to speak like them (growing up frm a country which teach british english) is kinda hard....words like water becomes 'wa-'d'-er'...somehow e 't' hides itself somewhere in e word...itz easy to pick up their accent....but to speak totally like them takes some conscious effort...
so i mean...since americans/canadians/british/australians etc have their accents....y cant singaporeans have their singlish accent? haha..okok...somehow singlish doesnt sound as nice ya....but since americans have their lingos, y cant singaporeans have theirs too? like lah lor leh....i mean...its totally fine rite....in comparison to the americans 'f***' which punctuate their sentences sometimes...
itz juz dat america is a huge superpower country and watever they invent is alright and watever puny singapore invents is not...sad ah....
